Whether you’re learning piano for the first time or perfecting your favorite song on the guitar, our music lessons help you build skills, confidence, and creativity at your own pace. With supportive instructors, a fun and encouraging environment, and options for youth, teens, and adults, there’s a lesson here for everyone. All lessons are 30 minutes and offered in semi-private or private formats — so your experience is always tailored to your goals.



Our Lessons
We offer private and semi-private instruction across three instruments and voice, with beginner through advanced levels available. Here’s what we offer.

Drum Lessons
Drum Lessons
Drum lessons are available for youth ages 9 and up, teens, and adults. Beginner through advanced instruction is offered in semi-private or private format. Classes are 30 minutes. Students should bring their own drumsticks to each class and will need a drum pad or drum at home for practice.

Guitar/Ukelele Lessons
Guitar/Ukelele Lessons
Guitar/ukelele lessons are available for youth ages 7 and up, teens, and adults. Beginner through advanced instruction is offered in semi-private or private format. Classes are 30 minutes. Students should bring their own guitar to class. Books are available for purchase for an additional fee.

Piano Lessons
Piano Lessons
Piano lessons are available for youth ages 5 and up, teens, and adults. Beginner through advanced instruction is offered in semi-private or private format. Classes are 30 minutes. Students will need a keyboard or piano at home for practice. Books are available for purchase for an additional fee.

Voice Lessons
Voice Lessons

Performance Opportunities
Participation in our winter and spring recitals is encouraged as a meaningful way for students to showcase their progress. Recitals help build confidence, performance skills, and a sense of accomplishment while sharing their talents with family and friends in a positive, low-pressure environment.

All music lessons at the Y are offered in your choice of private or semi-private format, so you can learn in whatever setting works best for you. Private lessons give you one-on-one time with your instructor for maximum focus and personalized attention. Semi-private lessons let you share the experience with another student — a great option for family members, friends, or anyone who enjoys a little company while they learn.
