As state-licensed programs, all Y 4K Wrap-Around programs require a completed child profile prior to registration. The profile collects required licensing information including immunization records, physician contact details, and emergency contacts. Plan for 25–35 minutes to complete it, and save your work frequently. You will not be able to register until all profile questions are complete — we recommend finishing it before registration day so you can register the moment spots open at 6:00 AM.
How to Complete Your Child’s Profile
Log in to your online YMCA account. Click “View Account” from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner. Navigate to the Membership box on the left side of your screen, then click the edit pencil next to your child’s name. Enter the requested information into each field, clicking Save Changes at the bottom frequently. The profile can be updated at any time, and information is stored for future registrations.

Our 4K Wrap-Around Care program provides a fun, nurturing environment where children continue to grow through play, enrichment activities, and the same caring staff they see every day. Grounded in the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, our program supports the whole child during every hour they’re in our care. And because we believe every child deserves access to quality care, financial assistance is available to help make this program affordable for families.
4K Wrap-Around Care provides licensed before- and after-school care for children enrolled in a school district’s 4K program. The Y provides a fun, nurturing environment during the hours outside the classroom.
4K partnerships are available with the Appleton Area, Hortonville, Kimberly, Kaukauna, and Little Chute school districts.
Registration dates vary by school district and open after each district places children in their 4K classrooms. We recommend completing your child’s profile early so you’re ready to register as soon as your district’s dates are announced.

We believe every child deserves access to quality care, regardless of a family’s financial situation. The Y’s Membership for All assistance program provides support for families who qualify. We’ll work with you to find a solution that makes Y child care accessible for your family — because no child should miss out on the foundation they deserve.
If applying for assistance at a licensed childcare site, please apply to the County/Wisconsin Shares program prior to applying for Membership For All through the Y.
The Y’s 4K Wrap-Around Care program offers licensed before- and after-school care for children enrolled in a 4K program through their school district — giving families a stress-free, engaging environment for their child during the hours outside the classroom. Available through the Appleton, Hortonville, Kaukauna, Kimberly, and Little Chute school districts, our program makes it easy for working families to keep their child in one familiar, trusted place throughout the day. All programs are state-licensed and staffed by trained, caring teachers who create a warm and nurturing transition between home, school, and the Y. Registration dates vary by district and open after each district places children in their 4K classrooms. If your school district does not offer 4K, the Apple Creek YMCA and Neenah Menasha YMCA offer preschool, PreK and wrap around care.
