Moving Beyond Cancer in Spirit, Mind, and Body
Thanks in part to the Y’s Mission In Action Campaign and support from the Spierings Cancer Foundation, we are proud to offer LIVESTRONG at the YMCA. This free, 12-week program designed for adult cancer survivors who have recently become de-conditioned or chronically fatigued from treatment or disease. Participants work with YMCA staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve meaningful goals — building muscle mass and strength, increasing flexibility and endurance, and improving confidence and self-esteem. By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA helps survivors move forward. While enrolled, participants and their caregivers receive all the benefits of Y membership and may use the facility, participate in designated classes, and access Y amenities throughout the program — completely free of charge.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA — 12 Weeks, Free
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a 12-week program for adult cancer survivors who have become de-conditioned or fatigued due to their treatment or disease. The program is completely free — and while enrolled, participants and their caregivers receive full Y membership benefits.

Stay Strong — 3 Months, For LIVESTRONG Graduates
Stay Strong is a 3-month continuation program exclusively for graduates of LIVESTRONG at the YMCA. Designed to help participants keep healing and reclaiming their health after completing LIVESTRONG, Stay Strong sessions are led by trained Y instructors who guide participants through physical activity sessions tailored to their personal wellness goals.
